Subject: video viewing problem with an Acer Travelmate
Date: 28 Aug 2003 00:25:07 +0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1062012307.11036.152.camel@toni_portatil.localhost> (raw)

Hi to all,

I would like to know if someone has come through the following problem,
and has been able to solve it.

Whenever I try to play a dvd movie with xine or ogle I get a blue bar
which divides the image. You can see some screenshots at
http://www.terra.es/personal5/avicens/. The same happens when I try to
play an mgeg or an avi with xine or mplayer from the cd or from the hard
disk.

I'm running RedHat 9 in an Acer Travelmate 612 laptop which has an Intel
82815 graphics controller. The driver I'm using is i810.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot.
