法轮功又称法轮大法，是佛家上乘修炼大法。法轮功的主要著作《转法轮》，语言浅显易懂，但内涵极深极广，教学员按“真、善、忍”做好人，修炼提升。
大法洪传，佛光普照，人心向善，道德回升。从开始到迫害前的七年时间里，中国大陆有大约一亿人走入大法修炼。1998年，前人大委员长乔石主导，对法轮功做了一次全面细致的深入调查，在大量真实事例和翔实数据支持下，得出的结论是：“法轮功于国于民有百利而无一害。”
就是这样一个“于国于民有百利而无一害”的好功法，却让心胸狭窄、妒嫉心极强的江泽民，越看越想越不爽，必欲除之而后快。为了实现其“三个月铲除法轮功”之目的，无所不用其极。具体说来有“三狠”。 ✔ 放狠话“肉体上消灭” ✔ 出狠招儿“天安门自焚” ✔ 下狠手“活摘器官”
