Subject: best practice for configuring Linux on a SAN array
Date: Tue, 13 Dec 2005 08:58:32 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <s39e8d54.041@smtpout.law.duke.edu> (raw)
I've got Red Hat EL 3 AS running on a Dell PE1850 connected to a Dell/EMC SAN, fibre channel. I installed a minimal installation on the two onboard drives, set up as a RAID Level 1 array, and of course want to put as much of the OS, applications and data on the SAN array drives as is possible. What is the best way of doing this? Feel free to go into detailed descriptions and to reply off list if you wish.
Thanks.
