Subject: [ath9k-devel] Implement MIT's flight time indoor positioning in ath9k

Hi All,

I am working on duplicate MIT's Chronos system, which uses wifi flight time measurement in an
indoor positioning system. They used intel wifi 5300 module and we think the ath9k is much
better.

MIT hacked intel wifi driver to implement a "frequency hopping", between a wifi host and client.
It consecutively hopping through channels in 2.4G and 5G, while collecting "channel state information",
from which the wifi flight time is extracted. We can get the channel state information already in ath9k.
But we are not very familiar with the ath9k driver. Since we have a lot of experts in this group, can
anyone give suggestions how to do the frequency hopping and packet injection in ath9k?

Any suggestions are strongly appreciated.

Best regards,

Everett
