Hi,
we got confirmation for the venue in the IIT Mandi last week and
currently we are working on an Indico setup to manage our conference.
As part of the conference we have planned to run an OpenPrinting Roadmap
Sprint 2023 mainly in the style of the micro-conferences we did in the
previous years.
So we will have
OpenPrinting Roadmap Sprint 2023
Fri, September 8, 4pm - 8pm IST (10:30am - 2:30pm UTC)
Venue is the IIT Mandi in India
- We will have 4 hours instead of 3:30 in total, and even an overrun in
the end would not be a problem as there is no other session
afterwards.
- We are not bound to any rules of Linux Plumbers, so one or another
session which are a talk and not actually a discussion are no problem
(Ira), but generally, we should have discussion in most of our
sessions.
- As for Plumbers, conference management is done via Indico. In the next
days I will post a link here. Then we can plan what we will cover and
enter session descriptions.
- On Friday there is no parallel track in another room, so Aveek and me
are on the Roadmap Sprint during the whole time.
- Most of you will participate remotely. We will set up an appropriate
video conference, similar to Plumbers. We will also record the
sessions.
I hope we will get some audience into our room and not be in an empty
room as it happened to us on Plumbers 2022.
