Just wondering: will this cause us any trouble, apart from the changes
needed to the json files?

Cheers

I no longer need to wonder: those patches are in master. So I changed
TOASTER_CONF in the toaster set up script to point to
meta-poky/conf/toasterconf.json and started Toaster (I will send a patch).

Projects using the local release work fine after that change and build
without issues. Projects using the master release, however, are missing
the meta-poky layer when they are created. This must be because meta-poky
is not in the layer index at the moment. Builds fail as a result, since by
default DISTRO is set to poky but nothing provides it.

I've opened

https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9180

To make sure we don't forget to update the layer index before the 2.1
release.
