From 9152a00d3a706d93d7ed9705ce2529bd3d1f3772 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Eric Wong Date: Tue, 27 Dec 2016 07:12:14 +0000 Subject: http -> https, and relocate homepage to https://80x24.org/dtas/ HTTPS allows some level of security(*) and we've actually supported it on 80x24.org for many months, now. So, point new readers to it. Moving away from hostname-based homepages will allow us to save on subjectAltName space (and bandwith) when negotiating an HTTPS connection. We'll also have an .onion mirror for Tor users, soon, too; in case we can't afford to pay ICANN in the future. (assuming TLS libraries don't have any more Heartblead-level bugs in them, CAs aren't compromised, MITM HTTPS stripping proxies don't get in your way, and your certificate bundle isn't compromised). --- dtas-linux.gemspec | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'dtas-linux.gemspec') diff --git a/dtas-linux.gemspec b/dtas-linux.gemspec index 8a3d2d1..ca1be89 100644 --- a/dtas-linux.gemspec +++ b/dtas-linux.gemspec @@ -1,5 +1,5 @@ # Copyright (C) 2013-2016 all contributors -# License: GPL-3.0+ (https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.txt) +# License: GPL-3.0+ # # this just declares dependencies to make gem installation a little easier # for Linux users @@ -12,7 +12,7 @@ Gem::Specification.new do |s| "via tee(), splice() and eventfd() on Linux" s.email = %q{e@80x24.org} s.files = [] - s.homepage = 'http://dtas.80x24.org/' + s.homepage = 'https://80x24.org/dtas/' s.add_dependency(%q) s.add_dependency(%q, '~> 4') s.add_dependency(%q, '~> 3') -- cgit v1.2.3-24-ge0c7
